24-year-old scooter rider does not survive collision with bench in Rotterdam

A 24-year-old woman died in an accident on the Blaak in the center of Rotterdam. The police report this. She crashed into a bench with a shared scooter and fell.

The woman was driving a shared scooter across the Blake last night around 3 a.m. when she collided with a bench on a central reservation. She was found injured there, according to police.

Attempts were made to resuscitate the victim, but she later died of her injuries in hospital.
