Motorcycle driver Marco Bezzecchi can participate in the Indonesian Grand Prix in Mandalika on Sunday. The 24-year-old Italian crashed during the first training on Friday, a week after surgery for a broken collarbone.
“Marco Bezzecchi has been found fit for the entire GP,” his team VR46 reported on social media.
Bezzecchi, number 3 in the MotoGP standings, crashed hard on Friday after eighteen laps. At that moment, the Ducati driver had clocked the fifth fastest time of the training. The Italian recently broke his collarbone during a practice ride on the estate of team owner Valentino Rossi.
Bezzecchi’s teammate and compatriot Luca Marini and the Spaniards Álex Rins (Team LCR) and Álex Márquez (Gresini Racing) return to the track in Mandalika after broken bones.
