- Worn-out or Bad Motor Mount or Engine Seat:- An engine mount also called an engine seat or seat engine is the part that holds the engine in your car to the car frame. engine mount provides a kind of cushion effect to the engine especially when starting the car. Motor mounts are made of rubber and a bit of metal which is the bolt screw to which the engine is tight. When the rubber parts of the engine seat start to deteriorate, it fails to provide the cushion effect.
